A two physician Gastroenterology practice in Delaware is looking to add a third due to continued growth in the market. The individual joining the practice could expect to be busy from the onset. The practice works out of one office, an adjacent state of the art endoscopy center and one Hospital less than a mile from the office. It is a busy practice but one that also focuses on lifestyle and family so the work schedule is somewhat relaxed. They spend approximately 3 days a week seeing patients (approximately 25-30) in the office (usually done by a reasonable hour) and two days a week at the Endoscopy Center. They perform primarily upper endoscopies, colonoscopies and a number of additional bread and butter type cases. There is the opportunity to do ERCP and EUS if one has additional training however it is not a necessity. They are focused on providing quality care to their patients. Call with the addition of a new associate would go to 1:4 during the week and 1:5 on weekends.
Located approximately an hour from the Ocean there are a multitude of recreational activities available. Close proximity to Philadelphia and Baltimore provide all of the benefits of easy access to a large metro area without the headaches of big city living.
Compensation would be dependent on experience. A comprehensive benefits package will include, malpractice and health insurance, vacation and CME time off and potential for partnership with the opportunity to joint venture in the Endoscopy Center.
